Full-time, fixed-term. A post-doctoral research associate position is available starting May 1, 2008 for research on marine bacterioplankton in the Department of Microbiology, Oregon State University. We are seeking scientists with experience in microbial cultivation, bioinformatics, and metabolic modeling. Project includes analysis of mass spectrometer data for organic compounds metabolized and excreted by marine bacteria in culture and in natural seawater.
