 Opakapaka (Pristipomoides filamentosus)

Opakapaka is an Hawaiian Deepwater Snapper under development for aquaculture.

Figure 18 (click for a larger view, 16.9 kilobytes)  Diplectanum sp., a gill monogenean from opakapaka. Monogeneans may proliferate on confined fish and cause disease.
